Marxist USA – are you aware we are on road to this? But there is time to stop this. After all, as Americans we desire economic prosperity for all with increasing personal freedom.
Do you know what life in a Marxist USA will entail?
Life in a Marxist US likely will entail:
A special elite ruling committee that will control all aspects of our lives, from the economy, our personal property (good bye to that), to individual personal decisions – what we can drive, what medical treatments we can be entitled to and when (wait 6 month for a knee MRI after tearing cartilage or ligaments).
What we can eat (already Big Government confiscated a turkey/cheese sandwich with a banana and replaced that with (salt and fat laden chicken crisps??) to a 4 year old after the mother packaged a reasonably nutritious lunch? We are on a slippery slope.
No more private companies or industries. All companies will be Government owned. No more Mom and Pop stores. All will be Government controlled. Expect Czars in Washington with ultimate control with a large bureaucracy controlling all economic operations and confiscating all revenues (forget profits). All will be provided with income according to how the Government deems to spread the wealth. There will be one exception: the Government elite will be the 1% with all the power and privileges. Every nation that attempted Marxism has ultimately reached this point and never ‘extended’ past this point to the utopia that Karl Marx stated was a natural extension of Socialism and full control of the population. Best example: North Korea where 99% starve.
Dissent will not be tolerated. Dissent and you will be imprisoned.
Only the elite ruling class will be rich and well off.
US will be in decline. American Marxists believe US prospered by ripping off the whole world. Per Marxian theory, US was major imperialist power and deserves to be cut down to size – leveling of the world playing field. This is change you can believe in.
Resources: world history – every nation that attempted Marxism or became Marxist failed as an economy and was run as a dictatorship. This was a major shortcoming of Karl Marx . He predicted that this elite ruling group would be temporary, necessary for transition to a utopia.
Can this happen in the US? Yes. Per present trends we will be there in several years. However we have an excellent opportunity to change course.
Karl Marx may have believed that ultimately the human race would reach a utopian life. In order to get there the world would eliminate all private ownership because capitalism was limited in providing needs for all. He predicted that technical innovations would lead to major unemployment and social turmoil. This would give rise to revolutions leading first to socialism and eventually a communist utopia.
He was wrong about the capabilities of capitalism. He was also wrong about human nature of the ruling elites. They became more exploitative than any corporation. USSR, No Korea, Maoist China, Cuba, East Germany etc…
Saul Alinsky in the 1960s and 70s applied Marxism to his era. He focused on a power analysis that would entail destruction of banks as a prereq to a Marist utopia. This started many community organizations that ultimately trampled lawns of bank CEOs demanding substandard loans. Then with more Socialist and Marxist leaning politicians in Government (although there were also many naïve politicians who simply believed too strongly in a near monopoly in housing economics), It became official Government policy to lower loans standards past few decades. Ultimately this caused the Great Recession.
BO taught Alinsky tactics in University of Chicago. BO was a lawyer for Acorn. As president he has been the most anti business president of all time by far.
BO, as Marx and Alinsly before him, may sincerely believe in a Marxist utopia as the best for the human race.
The scientific method calls for analysis of events and formulation of a hypothesis. Then one is to prove or disprove a hypothesis. Therefore I state following hypothesis: BO is a Marxist. I already stated what a Marxists USA will look like. Let’s attempt to prove BO is a Marxist.
Dodd Frank (DF) – banks now have huge increase in fixed costs to sort through thousands of pages of proposed regulations. Instead of hiring staff to increase revenues and also to extend loans to consumers and businesses, banks now have increased fixed costs figuring out DF. DF has idiotic features to be implemented by bureaucrats who do not understand financial markets. Right now these bureaucrats are stuck trying to determine what constitutes legal market making vs illegal now proprietary trading. Hence DF is destroying banks ( a preReq of destroying Capitalism).
Cap n Trade via EPA – unreasonable rules unconstitutionally being implemented by EPA to strangulate private industries – rules that Congress rejected. This means increasing Government control of the private economy. Control it first so you can eventually kill private economic control.
ObamaCare – is unconstitutional on multiple fronts. Where does the Constitution allow the Fed Government to mandate all purchase a product (health insurance)? Or executive branch (President) forcing companies to offer contraceptives free? Congress would have a better shot at Constitutionality. But even then the 1st Amendment would be violated. Provide ultimately unattainable requirements to private insurance companies and they will fail. Valla –ultimately all health care will then be public – a 100% takeover of 17% of the US economy, a major milestone to Marxism drive.
Public “venture capitalist” trying to grow the economy, exclusively via public sector, with zero economic or business skills: This lead to billions lost in Solyndra, Sun Power, GM electric cars. No private venture capitalist came close to supporting any of these initiatives. This is one of many proofs that capitalism always trumps socialism. But then if you are a Marxist , proofs do not matter; instead you are an extreme ideologue intent on destroying US capitalism because you hate US business with a raging intense passion.
Growing DEBT and non productive public sector : the $800 billion stimulus was to mainly provide money and incentives to the private sector. BO promised this prior to the stimulus vote ( a gimmick to deceive). Instead 80% went to the public sector and much of this went as payback to political cronies such as public unions. Most public jobs do not produce any new wealth so they are for the most part a drain in the economy. Most do not produce any self sustaining supporting jobs. Contrast that to private jobs that meet supply demand criteria that then grow new industries, companies , and new jobs that become self sustaining and create ancillary jobs. Growing public sector mainly grows debt and decreases capital for private investments. This is another strike against capitalism.
Risking US Dollar collapse:
Growing debt for 3 consecutive years in excess of 10% while our US economy grows only 2% risks creditors becoming weary about financing our debt. That has been becoming an increasingly poor strategy to preserve capital. Already we have reports that India has been paying for part of imported oil in gold, not US dollars. Once our creditors no longer “buy” this debt growing strategy, US dollar will collapse along with the US economy. But then BO knows about this and may welcome it. After all with the mantra that capitalism is the fault then this will be capitalism’s death. Then he thinks he may finally get his wish of a Marxist USA and ‘promoted’ to lead a New World Order. The fault with this logic is a topic for another post. I covered this partially in https://economics501.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/21st-century-karl-marx/
___ but will detail more why BO is wrong later.
Destroying private energy industry: BO energy policy provides tons of evidence supporting hypothesis that BO is a Marxist and is destroying capitalism in stages. Here is some recent evidence.
- 1. No Keystone pipeline so we will not hire 20,000, will increase our trade deficit, pay more at gas pump. China will now get the Canada energy contract. BO knows that KeyStone would be successful but he would be threatened by it. Why? That would give impetus to similar private capitalist initiatives that would receive support from many citizens especially private unions. Hence this would set a roadblock to BO quest to destroy capitalism. The environment argument is a façade here! It has no relevance other than to misdirect the public about BO true motives.
- Defying federal court, preventing oil companies from drilling in Gulf. Meanwhile Cuba, Viet Nam, and China drill miles off areas where we are not allowed to.
- Persuading Import Export Bank to provide $20 billion in loan money to Brazil to drill where US companies can not. Again – if US companies would be allowed to drill there then the success would threaten BO goal of destroying capitalism. BTW the US is the ultimate guarantee of the $20 billion.
- 4. Playing venture capitalist with poor energy investments and paying off a political donor. Government: Get out of private markets. You are too incompetent! But BO only wants Government full control of the oil industry. Without Government control of any industry, BO wants to see all private industries fail!
Monopoly over Student loans: Private banks no longer have a role. The Fed Government totally controls this. This occurred in 2009 with little media coverage.
Continued support of failed Government Housing policies exhibited in continuing support for Freddie and Fannie.
Banks are in no win situation. They have been and still are pressured to make loans to those least able to repay. Then when many cannot repay banks are accused of predator tactics. I work for a large bank and am extremely angry at BO war against banks and really capitalism. Further insult is continued reliance on Freddie and Fannie ( F and F) to continued failed housing policy. Freddie and Fannie already have cost US Tax Payers $180 billion dollars. F and F still hold over $2 Trillion in toxic assets. Total tax payer bail out may reach $1 Trillion. BO may like this. Why?
- He blames private banks for this state and half the public incredibly believes him .
- BO further likes this policy of because it further decreases pool of capital for private corporations; hence by continuing the F and F “bleeding” BO can accelerate the destruction of capitalism.
GM Debacle for bond holders: In normal bankruptcy proceedings bondholders have priority over all other interested parties. Why? They financed the damn company! GM should have been forced into bankruptcy. Instead it was forced into a quasi bankruptcy handled by the US Government. In the process taxpayer money was used to bail out GM, unions were given increased ownership, while bond holders were slaughtered. This was a BO calculated strategy. Do this a few more times and private finance and investment banking (my industry) collapses in the US. Ahhhh – accelerate road to Marxism . Who will take such risks? There are better opportunities overseas. At present the GM bailout has been a huge failure. US Taxpayers still owe $14 billion and electric cars US Government “ordered” GM to create, inflame in fire. More billions thus are added to the debt debacle. This is however good news for those looking to overthrow capitalism.
NLRB directing where private companies can expand
Allowing (or directing) NLRB to prevent Boeing from expanding in right to work state South Carolina was another policy to control and ultimately destroy capitalism. Besides this is unconstitutional. Fed Government has no right in ordering a private company where to expand – 14th Amendment. Allegedly this was in retaliation to Boeing for a strike in Washington. But after the strike Boeing expanded first in Washington, not a right to work state. Then it built a $1 billion plant in SC and hired 2,000 only to receive a court order that it could not proceed. Incredible. After a few months the parties settled. However this was a calculated strategy to intimidate private corporations – do what the US Government says or we’ll come after you. Think this may impact other companies thinking about expanding into a right to work state? Maybe this has happened already and maybe more than once. If so then BO is happy as that is another strategy to destroy capitalism.
What to do NOW:
Relay this information to many in a non threatening way explaining these perspective as to where we are heading and what the consequences can be.
Generate civil debates with others asking is this what we aspire to – Marxism in the US?
Explain how we can prevent this road to Marxism. This includes
- Spreading the information in this post to many.
- Challenge the US mindset that has many believing BO’s false promises
- Explain why capitalism is the best road to economic prosperity.
- Write letters to newspaper editors championing free market capitalism.
- Simply ask friends and neighbors to read Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals – only 196 ‘small’ pages in soft cover.
- Ask friends to expand their news readings to the conservative and alternate media such as Investors Business Daily (www.investors.com) , www.theintelhub.com, www.zerohedge.com, www.realclearmarkets.com, Blogs such as Economics501.wordpress.com, www.returntoexcellence.net
- Get involved in campaigns such as Anna Little for NJ US Senate against statist Menendez.
- Above all do NOT vote for BO.
So what do you think? Enough evidence? Feedback please. Remember though that as US citizens we should strive to improve our country’s prosperity and freedom. We have a 1st Amendment and I exercise mine here. Please add to this debate – how to prevent a Marxist USA and how to become more prosperous and expand our freedoms.
