Lonegan for Senate

Trenton Times published Ted’s letter July 16.
As Senator, Steve Lonegan will be a champion of the entrepreneurial,  private and productive sector of the economy.  He understands that it is the private sector, not the public, that by far creates more jobs that self sustain them and create ancillary jobs, new products, and industries.  He understands that only  increasing economic productivity sustains genuine long term economic growth.   This is possible only with a strong, competitive private sector.   He also understands that billions of wasteful Government spending  results in a net GDP decrease and widens the gap between the rich and the poor.
Contrast this with his likely challenger Cory Booker.  He recently announced a plan to increase government welfare programs.   This will increase our debt further, destroy more jobs, and increase our citizens dependence on our government.  Booker should know better as these kinds of welfare programs ruined great cities like Detroit and Newark and are partially  responsible for the US $17 Trillion debt, which now exceeds our GDP.  As a U.S. senator, Lonegan will work to undo these policies and fight for a leaner government and a stronger and competitive private economy with opportunities for all.
Please give Lonegan this opportunity by first voting for him in the upcoming primary.  To learn more please visit LoneganforSenate.com.

About economics501

1 - free market Capitalist; 2 - Fitness Entrepreneur; 56 years old, VP at an Investment Bank in NYC, ex Venture Capitalist, happily married with 2 girls. Education: Rutgers and NYU. I allow Ted Hruzd, my friend to blog at will here. He has many posts here. I have known Ted since we were both students at NYU. Ted also works for an Investment Bank as a VP in Equity Global Markets. ------------------------- I was very very Socialist leaning as a 22 year old. I then strongly believed in Gov role in helping the poor. However, as a USDA Child Nutrition Programs, I personally accounted for millions of fraud, abuse, and waste of tax payer money. I came to believe that the poor would be best served with less Gov programs and more with direct aid via tax system. Then after 5 years I became a free market capitalist, was a venture capitalist in 2007 and helped start 2 high tech companies. I dedicate this site to champion free market capitalism as the best road to Prosperity. Please join in. If you disagree, fine, but please post with dignity and class and be civil. Argue with facts always.
